The Guardians consider the Armed Services to be our 12th Man | 2012 Team PictureThe Guardians finish their first season with an 0-8 record. |
Armed Services BowlThe Guardians lose the Second Annual Armed Services Appreciation Bowl to the Mini Cassia Diggers by a score of 14-0. | Guardians First WinThe Guardians get their first win during the 2013 season. The final of 15-14 was against the Idaho Lancers. | 1st RMFL Player of the WeekFollowing the Lancers game Daniel Valadez was named RMFL Offensive Player of the Week after rushing for 113 yards on 16 carries. This also made Daniel the first Guardian to rush for 100+ yards in a game. |
2013 Team PictureThe Guardians finished their second season 1-7. | Guardians Lose a TeammateDuring the off-season between the 2013 and 2014 season the Guardians lost a teammate. Daniel Valadez was killed in a car accident. In his memory the Guardians will wear the above memorial sticker on their helmets for the 2014 season. | Potato Feed a SuccessThe team held a Potato Feed fundraiser prior to the 2014 season. The team provided the entertainment with "dancing" and a "beauty" contest. Cesar Lira won Mr. Tater Stud and the team raised a good amount of money. |
Helping Out at the FieldThe Guardians took a day to help with improvements at their new home field at Greenleaf Friends Academy. | In Memory of DanielDuring the 2014 season the Guardians carried a flag around to every game in Memory of Daniel Valadez. After every game each team they played signed the flag and it was given to the Valadez family at the Guardians last home game. | 2014 Team PictureThe Guardians finished the 2014 Season with an 0-8 record. The team also used 11 different quarterbacks due to injury and other issues. |
